The Trinity Challenge is delighted to announce that Nísia Trindade Lima, President of Fiocruz, has received the Legion d'Honneur commendation in recognition of her work in the world of science and health, particularly in the fight against COVID-19. Nísia was praised for her commitment to "defending the universal right to health, in addition to contributing significantly to the strengthening of international cooperation, especially with France".
Fiocruz has been a valued member of The Trinity Challenge since its inception. In June this year, we were delighted to have Nísia as part of a TTC-convened panel, discussing 'Opportunities for data and analytics in public health in Latin America'.
